Rod O'Donoghue

Rod has studied history and mythology for over thirty years, in Ireland since 1990. A lover of language, he learnt Irish to progress his research. Rod was born in England but his family comes from County Kerry. He lives in London with his wife Kay and they have three children and eight grandchildren.
A retired businessman, hRod served as a board director for Kimberly-Clark, Rank Xerox, Pritchard Services, Gestetner and Inchcape in the UK and abroad. He trained originally as a chartered accountant.
His first book O’Donoghue People and Places was published by Ballinakella Press in 1999. He has written regular articles for the quarterly journal of The O’Donoghue Society, which he founded in 2000.
