Pics of the launch of Suzanne Power’s Heart Lines in Kilkenny Book Centre
Kilkenny Book Centre (a real bookshop with real booksellers and a fabulous manager, Yvonne) hosted the launch by author John MacKenna of Suzanne Power’s Heart Lines on Friday 9 December. A large crowd of well wishers, including some students from Suzanne’s creative writing class at NUIM Kilkenny came along to cheer on the author and laugh at John MacKenna’s jokes. Londubh author Jim Maher (The Oath Is Dead and Gone), a native Kilkenny man, managed to get in on the act. He bought Suzanne’s book, she bought his. And so it should be.
