Londubh Books was established as a trade publisher in 2010 to publish non-fiction titles for the Irish market. Among our most successful titles were Tony Flannery’s A Question of Conscience, Sean Duke’s How Irish Scientists Changed the World and I’ll Drop You a Line, Ita Daly’s memoir of her late husband, writer and literary editor, David Marcus.

About Us
Jo O’Donoghue has more than thirty years’ experience in writing, editing and trade publishing. She began her career with Poolbeg Press, where Patricia Scanlon was her standout success in fiction, then worked with Mercier Press, establishing the Marino Books imprint to publish contemporary fiction while continuing to produce history, memoir, politics, general non-fiction and Irish-interest trade titles for Mercier. Bill Cullen’s memoir, It’s a Long Way from Penny Apples was the single most successful title she published for Mercier Press. Subsequently she was editorial director for Currach Press.
